Christopher Turpin, RAc., DTCM

Christopher’s purpose is to educate the public about the efficacy of acupuncture and to help people find balance and wellness in their lives. This he practices through the prevention of disease and by focusing on the root cause of the imbalance and not just the symptoms. His treatments use distal points and are based on the I Ching. This is part of a system of acupuncture called the Balance Method which he has been practicing since 2002 under his mentor Dr Ricard Tan. He also uses Worsley Classical Style 5 Element Acupuncture which focuses on Mental/Emotional Acupuncture. Christopher studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Victoria, BC at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where he completed the maximum four years of study. He has been a practicing Registered Acupuncturist since 2001.

Christopher specializes in pain relief and prevention, as well as, diabetes, emotional disorders, and digestive disorders, from Crohn's disease to IBS and colitis. He has a wealth of experience in all of these areas using the balance method and has lived with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease for the past 30 years.
